The multi-anvil apparatus, especially the Kawai-type multi-anvil, is a widely used high-pressure apparatus in geoscience. Its large-sample volumes allow us to control the chemical and physical conditions very well, making it possible to obtain reliable knowledge about the physical and chemical properties of the geomaterials at high pressure and temperature conditions.

Multi-anvil apparatus is a popular high-pressure apparatus to obtain reliable data about minerals' physical and chemical properties of minerals under high-pressure and high-temperature conditions relevant to the deep mantle. We expect to expand a variety of experiments by the following technical developments, whose projects are partly described above.
